Really pleased with the result. Amazing progress being made. 12 months back we lost 3-0 at Watford in a horror show.
When we came up I hoped El Ghazi could step up but last year he struggled. What a transformation!

Was hoping for 3 points as a nice birthday present but happy enough with that given the tough run of games coming up. Gave as good as we got for the most part.

Proud of the lads. Much improved 2nd half and could have taken all 3 points. Chelsea have some wonderfully technical players but they couldn't match our effort. Don't mind taking a point providing we beat the Plastics tossers on New Years Day.

Great point. McGinn immense and unlucky with his shot off the crossbar. I don't bother listening to the commentary as I've come to expect its bias towards the sky (amazon) 6. Giroud is a tw-t.
Well done Villa boys, every player fought hard for that! UTV!
Lampard looked like a guy clinging onto his job on the touchline!

A tough game. Fair result I thought. To win this you d needed a bit of "ball going your way" like Mcginns shot or Chillwells after going in. A rest will do good, Grealish a bit tired I thought considering his stadards. Mc ginn did throw him self about though, good game from him. This Chelsea team at their place one of the toughest opponent so far this season I thought and so pleased with a point. A bit nervewrecking following a tight game like this. OT next

We are having a great Xmas. Long may it continue. When you remember back to this time last season when we were loosing/drawing our so called winnable games. Well done to Dean, the coaches and team for turning this around. Looking like a real solid side now.

Good point that, games coming thick and fast now, another strong performance needed against the Red Mancs.

Absolutely superb performance tonight. John McGinn was far and away the MOM. Every player put a shift in and we look like we can take anyone on and get a result just brilliant

Yes, I am shoveling spades and spades of humble pie. One year ago today, after Watford, I thought Smith had to go.

Boy has he gone on to put together a great side.

People who fancy Chelsea, I wouldn’t dare call them supporters, calling for franks head across social media. Absolutely hilarious and pathetic at the same time.

Half-Man, Half-Biscuit have it correct as usual.

"They should just brick Jim Beglin up".

Fantastic result. McGinn is such a bulldog in that midfield. We are going places. UTFV

Kante is a great player.  SJM is on a par.
