I remember someone mentioning at the time in H&V about walking back to the car after that game and about the racism of the Chelsea fans. It may have been Percy.

I was there. What I remember most was Tony Daley's goal and the relief of getting back to the car in one piece and without having to go via A&E. It was somewhat "exciting" ( by exciting, I mean the threat of serious wounding or worse was ever present) on Fulham Palace Road.

We were kept in the ground for about 20 mins after the game while they tried to get rid of the scummy CFC wankers. There were still scum around when we came out. Luckily for me personally I come from London, so I was fine (and lived in Putney at the time).

89/90 is right up there with the very best seasons.  Brilliant days.

Remember the game well. A big Villa turnout. It was bloody cold and we were kept in for what seemed ages. A fantastic display along with the Aresnal and Man Utd games.

It wasn’t me, I missed that one sadly.
