I can't quite get my head around how 18 months ago we finished below them in the 2nd division table and tonight if looked like a 3rd round cup game against a 3rd division side.

How we've progressed in that 18 months is phenomenal.

The words Michael Owen and animated don’t belong in the same paragraph, let alone sentence. He’s a one-eyed monotone dullard of the highest order.
who spends all his time and money betting on horses.

On Livermore and Hause I think the difference was height, the former made contact with his leg, latter with his foot. That's a big difference when it comes to the control of the tackle.
The Hause was similar to the challenge on Jack by Burnley thug so you can say that is consistent.
Livermore has both feet off the ground and that gets you sent off these days, he had already got away with 2 fouls on Jack so you know what he was trying to do.

The chances of Sam Allardyce keeping West Brom up are precisely zero. I’m not sure even Jesus would back himself to save them.
Jesus only deals with miracles. Nothing higher.
Jesus has bought himself a Jack Grealish T-Shirt

Livermore's was out of control, Hause mistimed a caught the player. One was a red and the other a yellow, all day long. If you think otherwise you're pretty clueless.
Spot on.

Have not got BT, so just seen the goal highlights. Traore's goal was fantastic just passed it into the corner from 20 yards

Another good win, hopefully we can break our home hoodoo in the next game against Palace and that will another tough game for us

On our recent form boxing day's game will be tough for the opposition.

I was irrationally nervous at 1-0 with 15 to go, considering how dominant we were. Just hard to shake off the villa of recent years, who would of let a soft equaliser in against the run of play.
We were so dominant all over the field from start to end, it didn’t end up feeling like a derby. Everyone had a good game, and as has been said the wingers were impressive, but I thought McGinn, was superb.
The only disappointment is the decision to disallow Watkins goal. He wasn’t ahead of the defender even with all the stupid lines, he was level at worse, and unless the rules have completely changed, level is on side. He played well tonight, but you can see through his body language that he needs a goal now, positively he still keeps getting in good positions.
Great win though and we are looking so good.
I was nervous too but it’s because the two commentators were talking them up. It was starting to irritate me up to the second goal. Totally agree with the “offside” too  even with the lines he looked onside

It was also after a whistle, let's not forget that. It was an assault carried out through a red mist.

Watched most of 2nd half. Managed to miss all the goals, I did see the disallowed one though. Did think in real time it looked slightly offside, but on the replays it was very close and like his last disallowed one for offside, should probably have stood. He’s not getting much luck at the minute. Bigger picture though, we played the baggies off the park. Aside from 2 or 3 quick breaks which came to nothing, they hardly threatened our goal. I know they’ll bleat about being a man down, but fk ‘em. When I turned on it was just after Konsa’s (?) foul and I thought we’d had a man sent off- took me a little while to work out what had happened from the commentary. 5/6 on the rd now. Happy days- just need to get the home form back now and we’ll be flying!! UTFV 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

Didn't see much of the game but looked like we ran the show from start to finish, lovely stuff. Can we play away every game, and on a Sunday night please.

It's beginning to make me think commentators have to fulfil some 'balance' quotas with their clearly wrong "albion could be back in this any moment now" claims coming on the tails of "aren't leeds the bestest" as they let in number six.

That does annoy me a bit when the commentators talk up the losing side. I guess they get told to do it, but it still grates. A bit like how they always mention how We nearly went down last season or compare the respective points tallies at this stage of the season to last season. Maybe it’s a backhanded compliment but it still annoys me. Last season was exactly that, focus on this season.

Anyone got a clip of the Hause challenge? Missed that one.
Genuinely thought he went for the ball with his studs, was a bit late and caught the Albion player instead.  I personally wasn't sure about Livermore's being upgraded to red, though it did look particularly bad from the one angle.
Livermore's was  reckless lunge; Hause's was a mistimed tackle.
