1-3 FTFAPEDF!
Bloody hope not. There was a very obvious Barkley shaped hole in our midfield at West Ham that needs filling if we're going to get something from this game.

We are far better balanced in midfield as a result. We need to sign him permanently if possible and also go on the hunt for a player as back up in his position. It would be ideal if one of the starlets from the academy was ready to make the step up but no one seems to be pushing for a place just yet.
Charging new born babies fifteen quid a season. Jesus wept.

What's that all about? We've been looking at names for boys for obvious reasons, and some of them really make you wonder what parents were thinking. Why would you saddle a child with the name "Jaxon" for instance?

I saw McGinn do very little throughout the game, yet the way you phrased your post you put it all down to Hourihane. He was subbed after 74 mins yet that "midfield hole" still existed. Barkley when he plays has to play off the striker otherwise based on what I've seen from him in midfield that "hole" you talk about will only get bigger. I agree all gaps need to be plugged, but that may take a few more transfer windows.
