Excellent.Very disappointed though in Andy Townsend.Flag waver for disallowing the goal and generally not pro Villa.

Decent, never felt like they would score that half.

Gotta show we've leaened from last season when we were 0-1 up at HT here.

I’m finding the commentary on the stream I’m watching very disparaging towards us.
We are very much the plucky underdogs and at one stage, out of nowhere,Ian Darke said, of course, Villa won their first 4 games and no one in the history of the premier league has ever been relegated after a start like that.
Why the fuck would anyone spout shit like that ?

The problem with VAR is it really is a goal prevention system. It checks every technical specification to see if a goal should stand. Technically that was offside as Barkley is in the line of sight of the goalie. However, watch his reaction when the ball goes in. He doesn't appeal at all. He can see McGinn and he has no chance with the strike & he knows it. It is a farce and it is ruining the game week after week.

Apparently we haven't had a shot on goal according to the BBC! What do they think the disallowed goal was, if it wasn't on target?

And it's supposed to correct obvious errors. If it takes nearly 5 minutes to make a decision it can't be obvious can it?

Trez has annoyed me by not picking up Tierney loads of time.

For the life of me, I can't understand why commentators and pundits aren't quicker to point out what a vanilla arsenal side this is. Someone needs to let Arteta know that Guardiola doesn't derive his powers from his knitwear.
