This will be an interesting one. If they play their game we could murder them Liverpool style. But Bielsa will do his homework and is cannier than Dean, so it’s a good test of whether this team can be neutralised. Personally I don’t think it can if our midfield all play well. Too many ways to hurt opponents.

Just had a BBC alert pop up to say Philips out for 6 weeks with a shoulder injury.

Whoever it was that reversed our injury curse in the summer and put it out opponents deserves high praise.

I know. My fear is it will all balance out and we will lose half our squad come January.
At the rate we are going we'll lose half our squad before long to yellow cards - McGinn already has 3 in 4 games and there a few others with 2. With not much of a 'backup team', that could be serious.

The thinking behind this is to get all the 1 game suspension out the way in one go. That way, we always have our strongest side out and they get a rest every 5 games 😊

Dangerous game this - they have impressed me but not as much as Villa have. Can see a few goals too - player for player we have the edge and should have enough if we are on our game.

3-2

I shall swim against the tide and predict our first setback. I can see a frenetic, controversial 2-2 draw.

This for me as well although I have predicted a Villa defeat and will go offline after 8 mins as I've done ever since the Arsenal game.

Just fuck these man bun fuckers.

In the absence of any tactics, that would be my team talk before the lads go out.

Think they will come out of the blocks and have a go at us early doors, try and boss the game, we have to be ready for that. We haven’t gone behind yet this season, wouldn’t surprise if we do on Friday, then the test will be how we react.
2-1 after coming from behind, Watkins and grealish.

After spending £15 on Sunday to watch the match, decided I’m far better off spending my money watching this at my sons footie club, few beers for me and coke and crisps for him, old school. I really hope we do this lot.
