Good news, might be fit for the Arsenal on 18 Feb, better watch out Arteta, Bert will be gunning for your boys!

I think the corresponding game lasdt year was when Gerrard gave up on him.

I like Bert. Good option to bring back if we couldn’t get in a player Emery really wanted.

One of those players that gets you off your seat and then quickly back on your arse…

I just hope he’s fit enough to get involved.

He's more 1 footed than Bailey. A good laugh though, hopefully he can pull out a few specials and keep the terrifying shanked clearances to a minimum.

I look forward to seeing his bizarre clearances again and maybe the odd goal of the month contender.

When's he going to be back though?

When's he going to be back though?

There's bene a couple of places suggest he'll be in full training within the next week or 2 so available for the Everton game seems likely, maybe slightly sooner.

I like Bert as an option, but it only works if he’s fit.

Suggestions that he’s about 2 weeks away. I hope he proves himself under Emery. We all saw what he can do and if he can stay fit and be a bit more consistent overall he will be a valuable asset during the run in.

He was/is far too good to be binned off to Turkey on loan.

I don't agree with that I'm afraid.

Ultimately you end up where you deserve, I am not optimistic on his return but hope he proves me wrong!
