The source is football insider. So totally fabricated.

Probably. I hope so. How and why would it be leaked? If you’re Gerrard, arrive and (with some justification) decide you’re a bit lopsided with too many wingers, you’d only discuss this with your closest assistants. It’s conjecture based on the fact that, yes, we probably have too many wide players. At least you’d hope so.

Traore, another player that I’ve forgotten what he looks like. Could do with a few of these injury prone players being moved on.

I like Villa having wingers though. At least one.

Yep. Me too. But I was brought up on Tony Morley, so it runs pretty deep!

Thing is Tony Morley used to stay fit.

He did and was remarkably consistent for two years.

Traore is a quality footballer. If we got our money back though, with his injury record, it would be worth doing.

With better, physical midfielders behind him and Bailey on either wing, meaning that he doesn’t have to track back as much or if at all, we would be a really exciting side to watch. I’d rather El Ghazi be first in the queue rather than Bert.

From Stevie G's press conference:

"Bertrand Traoré is still going to be some weeks away, so we need to be patient on that one."

Don't expect to be seeing Bert this side of Valentine's Day then.

Or 'Bernard' Traore as Gerrard actually called him!

You'd think he'd have changed his curtains by now with all this free time
