Nacho signing might help keep him here. Two shithouses from Argentina in the one team, fantastic...

Reports in the Metro that at half time he was telling the rest of the players not to be so "cowardly". They didn't take it on board.

Quote
Things hardly got better after the break with the Spanish No.1 remaining untested, even after Martinez pointedly told his teammates they had adopted an approach that had been playing into Spanish hands.

‘Come on, with heart, boys, hey,’ said the Aston Villa goalkeeper in a speech made during the interval.

‘Playing with heart means driving forward, not going backwards, forward. Forward, forward, forward, forward.

‘Cowards play backwards, let’s move forward. Three passes and we find Leo, let me see us build it from the back too.’

Didn't like his shirtless aggression to the Spanish bench after the game though

I'm sure he had his reasons. #saintemi

Is that true or the one that has been proven to be from a game from years ago ?

He was so outraged that he took his top off and changed into a different coloured strip and turned the Spanish into Dutch and the year into 2022.

If you are going to be outraged about something, at least know what you are being outraged about.

Nope, it was that racist twat Enzo who stupidly got himself sent off. You can't really play with eleven men behind the ball if you only have ten of them.
The attitude of most of the outfield players was to blame, they didn’t look interested in playing football. They were a disgrace.

Don't disagree, but still not impossible they might have got away with it and shitfested their way to a penalties win if not for his stupidity.
True.
Also I blame the ref for not dealing with the blatant aggression earlier.
