He is rightly taking a pasting
I remember watching Shane Warne bowling in the ashes back in 2005 and saying to my then 16 year old son sit down and watch this because you will never see anything like it again in your lifetime I have been watching Villa since the mid 70’s and Martinez is the best I’ve ever seen and there’s been some greats, but Martinez is truly world class, he might not be at the hight of his powers of a couple of years ago but he’s still world classThe two saves he made on Sunday were outstanding if any other goalkeeper was playing it’s a good bet they wouldn’t have got to them, we would have people saying well the goalkeeper wasn’t at fault because no one would have got to them, but he did, that’s what he does and that’s the difference between playing European football every year and not So here’s a heads up to everyone especially those under the age of 30, and take a bit of advise from an old man like me enjoy this fella while you can because there’s a very good chance he’ll be the best you ever see in your lifetime
