It’s not a shock he’s going so we should have been proactive. Costa rumours are bollocks pie in the sky stuff. We’ve been shown as lacking preparation all Summer.

Jacob Tanswell has posted that Unai only wants players that are 100% focussed and Emi isn't hence his omission.

Shame Unai didn’t apply the same approach for the Man U game

So every player but Martinez excluded?

Unai Emery was asked about Emiliano Martinez:

Q: The reason for his absence? "Marco Bizot."
Q: Where is Martinez? "Marco Bizot."
Q: Will he be your future goalkeeper? "Marco Bizot."

Emery clearly is just focused on the game and the players he has. It might just mean with all that’s going on around Emi he wants players with a clear head. There’s no guarantee he goes. But if he does we have a manager who will simply move on. Cold. That’s how it needs to be.

But what if he doesn’t go?

Immediately back in the starting line up?

Id probably wish him luck If he went abroad but not them ..not f@@@@g  them

Yep, with you on that.  He's been great for us and had he gone somewhere abroad at the start of the summer, then he'd have gone with overwhemingly good wishes I'd have thought.  To go in this way though and especially to those w@nkers, will be a massive blow to our fans and will leave a very bitter taste in the mouth.

I don't want any player to stay if they're not committed. Emi has always been one of those players that you love in your team, but when he's in someone elses team, he's a wanker. Thanks Emi - now fuck off.
You either play for Aston Villa or no one else,my sentiments exactly

I thought he said “the time is over” as in he was ending the interview there.
