When was it good enough for them to sign Wolves who finished in the bottom six best player?

It probably isn't "good enough", is it?

It looks like they'll probably sign Mbuemo as well and there have been around a thousand posts on here about how they might sign one of our best players as well.

Cunha is so Manure.  He's going to have an appalling disciplinary record, duffing up various non-playing staff / stewards / fans along the way.  The continued downward spiral with the worst businessman at the helm will be a great watch - why Emi wants part of that is - apart from lining his pockets - is beyond me.

Agreed, he's talented but wayward. Played very well v Man United last season from memory, everybody did bar our lot. But threw plenty of strops along the way and has a very suspect attitude. Bombed at Athletico before which would be a worry. Big fish in Wolverhampton doesn't mean all that much.

Garnacho is five years younger and in a functioning football club, Amorim would be instructed to make amends with him as priority. Garnacho for all his faults is at least the equal talent wise of Cunha.

I suppose it’s related with them apparently trying to sign Martinez, but signing him, Mbeuno and Cunha does not scream ‘we’re back’ if I was a man Utd fan. They’re obvious signings at very high costs, undoubtedly on massive wages and not without their issues. Martinez may well be on the slide, Cunha has been decent in a relegation threatened team where everything goes through him and we’ll see how Mbeuno does outside of the settled
and unpressurized environment of Brentford at a Tottenham or Man Utd. That’ll likely be the best part of £160m on those 3 should they materialize. It doesn’t solve their problems and perhaps most importantly, they’ve shown their hand first by signing players. Which means getting much return on a Sancho or a Onana becomes all the more difficult. This is not the sign of any smart operators here. If Emi goes there, it’s purely for the money.

Even if Manure were in breach of PSR, can anyone believe that the PL would charge them?

What happened to Man City? Does anyone know where the incredibly bumpy rug is that their charges have been swept under?

found it

https://www.fourfourtwo.com/news/manchester-united-psr-exception-explained-to-upset-everton-and-nottingham-forest-fans

And there are still people who think they are not unfairly biased towards

As was widely covered at the time:

Quote
The Athletic has now explained the verbiage used. The term "exceptional" in this instance does not imply any special treatment - merely it is a term that is used by clubs in their accounts to explain costs that aren't regular.

Per football finance expert Kieran Maguire, United have to declare their losses related to Covid because they are listed on the New York Stock Exchange and therefore must disclose more information. The £40m loss is attributed to the club cancelling their 2021 summer tour, debts incurred from commercial partners, United being unable to fulfil certain sponsorship obligations and rebates owed to broadcasters.

While United had to share their losses in publicly-available accounts, The Athletic's report reveals that their Premier League rivals used a private method to submit details of Covid-linked losses. Clubs were allowed to incorporate the financial impact of Covid in their PSR calculations, which explains how United and others were able to avoid being penalised.

If you didn't believe so many things that aren't true, maybe you wouldn't get so upset about them?

Reminds me of a couple of die-hard Derry republicans I used to be friendly with back in Scotland who'd insist with no irony that Brexit was entirely and exclusively a conspiracy against the six counties and more specifically their joining a united Ireland. Malice and neglect are not the same thing.
