You guys just don't understand the comic genius that is BC. He/she/it should be on stage with this material, granted it's more Crimpton-on-Sea Maplins than London Palladium, but genius nonetheless. im being deadly serious.

It’s a really odd one this is, I can’t think of a footballing reason to go to Man Utd, if it’s a cash grab by Emi he could get more money going to the Saudi league.

I can only think that his agent and Utd think we are in trouble with PSR and reckon they can do a deal with us to bail us out, with a £20M fee.

If it doesn’t happen before the end of June I would assume we could still ask for £40M and then I can’t see a deal going ahead.

You’d think Martinez, with the arrogance of believing you’re the best keeper in the world would set his sights higher.

Modern football is strange !!

I'd imagine money is a bigger factor for Martinez than it would be for other players of his status - he'll only have started earning silly money in recent years. Six years on £300k per week (plus a muscular signing fee) would go some way to easing any poverty anxiety he has. Bless.

Just - I cant think of a time when we have sold a top player and it didnt make us worse - until that happens - it going to be difficult to believe.
The dismantling of the 1976-77 team is the best example of making us certainly a more pragmatic winning machine.  Gidman and Gray's replacements were arguably inferior.  Little was all but sold.
Of course the dismantling of the team that followed was an unmitigated disaster.

If Martinez goes to Man Utd, it’s just for the cash. They aren’t going anywhere any time soon and aren’t even in Europe next season.

But they will likely finish well above us next season if we sell them Martinez.

I think they’ve got a heck of a long way to go to sort out their team to fit what Amorim wants. We are much further down the line with our team. I could see Amorim gone by Christmas. Martinez going there isn’t going to fix all of their problems.

Yes, but all the talk from us is about the comedy duo of Monchi and Vidagany selling everyone as cheaply as possible.  We could be in the bottom half next season thanks to this pair and im being deadly serious.

Why do you even bother?

He’s convinced himself that opinion is fact and is desperately trying to convince others of it despite it being a lie.

David Platt. Sold him to Bari for £5m, went from 17th to 7th.

One of the latest podcasts i listened to (1874 with Dan Bardell) and he suggests he has heard that Emi is 70/30 going and it would be a surprise if it was not THEM >:(

Who the hell are they going to shift Onana to as there is no way they could afford both - or maybe the rules do not apply  ???

Didn't understand the talk that Manure wanted to sign Emi for about 30M, if they could sell Onana for about 65M.

How on Earth would Onana be going for more than Emi, leg alone over twice as much?

Beats me about Onana’s putative price and possible destination.
Perhaps Emi’s figure is calculated more with the idea that there’ll be someone coming the other way. Possibly two someones  ;)

I’m still convinced that a lot of this chat is fuelling itself and repeating fed by Sky et al because it might get Emi to Them, rather than him actually wanting desperately to go there; why would he? They’re a club in disarray and on the slide.

No idea of the source or its reliability but I saw something the other day that said Onana wanted to stay and fight for his place at Man U. Would be funny if the dead weight just refuses to leave and they can't bring in replacements.
