And just because his non native English and (in my opinion) ASD mean his communication is a bit odd and he doesn’t read a room too well is no excuse to suddenly become Sid James fans.

I assure you, it isn't sudden.

Ahhh, football. The universally accepted forum for chaste and polite exchanges of view.

Thank you Mike. And to others I just hoped for a discussion on Martinez being recognized.
Good day to all.

Obviously, but in general, I think this site stops short of 70s Carry On humour.

Well said Mike, I read this thread to keep abreast of any Emi news.

Agreed Mike.  Pile-ons can quickly get out of hand.  There is an 'ignore' setting for any who feel the need.

That works both ways though.

It's hardly a pile-on is it? And nothing has been said that's personal or insulting, it's been a light-hearted exchange of posts. Childish, but nothing more than a bit of fun.

I think if you look at some of the responses to some members posts over the last few weeks (however provocative they may be), a pile-on is a perfectly accurate description.

I'm not responsible for other people's posts, I'm afraid.

If I had an issue with Footy, I wouldn't be engaging with him. I've done so in a genuinely friendly way, hence using emojis to convey the light-hearted tone, and haven't said anything insulting or nasty.

So, nerrrr.  :P

To bring the discussion around full circle, Razzle had a pile on quite regularly.

Without wanting to pile on, moaning about people bringing up your old posts when you have form for quoting yourself to claim 'insight' isn't likely to go down well.

You can either leave everything in the past or accept you've got as many things wrong as you got right.

Which caused a few pylons, I hear.
