Hope your right, but can't see it sadly.  He's probably too good for where we are as a club at the moment

If he goes, he goes. It's bizarre to worry about it right now.

Who will sign him? Can't think of anyone above us in the pecking order that is desperate for a goalie and would pay the ridiculous fee we would ask for. He signed a new five year contract in January, he had already won Copa America and cemented his position as one of the best in the world by then.

Dibu consoling Mbappe - and telling him to expect a call from Unai?

Tottenham maybe? Levy will offer £10 million and some Argos vouchers.

Messi made his name with us, he was nowhere near the Argentina first team before. Now he’s integral. He can have another 5+ years with us easily.

Also - the teams that can afford him - he doesn’t suit the sweeper keeper role they look for

IIRC his wife has a successful home design business in London, I can't see her wanting to give it up. They have more money than they'll ever need, the kids are settled, it will always be a family decision and let's face it, Emi has won the two things he wanted more since he joined Villa. He's going no where.

Lionel Messi had a Simon Stainrod poster on his wall when he was a babby.

A bit of an irony that you can say that everything Emi has done over the last few years he owes a lot of it to a certain Frenchman, Neal Maupay.

To be fair - he had to move on when cos he knew he wouldn’t get ahead of  the Moore brothers
