I saw Paul Robinson in the flesh, well Stefan Dennis obvs, at an under 18s disco in Brechin. He was there with Sonia, it was a good night.

I saw the bloke who played Alf Stewart in that curry house near Five Ways*

* in about 1994.

Regards? (On Broad Street, which imho, makes it a brilliant name.)

Yeah that’s the one, I think.

Went in there a fair bit in my first year at university when I was in halls in Edgbaston. There was a decent pub over the road, the Unspoilt by Progress.

I liked that place, I worked at Nat West at Five Ways for a while and we'd go in there for our extended Friday lunch

Are there any Banks's pubs left inside Birmingham? My mate got proper excited when he discovered the Unspoilt was there. And a pint of mild in the bar of the Lifford Curve remains (well, it's not going to get beaten now!) the cheapest I've ever had in a pub. 54p.

Sorry Olaftab, I will try harder.

Footy-Ville is a bad influence on me.  :)
Haha...I did think half way  through reading that that Footy has hacked your account.

Blimey, the Lifford Curve, that’s a blast from the past.
Opened around 85, Didn’t last long, though. Pretty sure it was closed by 2000
 I lived just up the road from there in the late 80’s, but never really used it as I used to drink in the Grant.

God I love him so much. Even when he inevitably leaves us, and even if he shithouses against us, I certainly won't boo him like the Arsenal fans.
