Am observation I like to put forward in something that happening. I noticed in matches v Man City and Man Utd and Arsenal at home where we packed the defensive area we conceded to long range goals which could have even been saved as Emi was unsighted. Dias and Fernandes.and Saka . Have a look at them . If we haven't learnt then we could be conceding again like this v Liverpool due to their quality in strikes and how our players are positioning themselves when defending With this problem I've highlighted and with many players behind the ball this causes problems again in goalkeepers vision. The other issue of course is the space the dm and defence occupy without the ball.Emi Martinez though still perhaps should have done better with them and have the players been made aware so it doesn't happen again today
What's the remedy you suggest? Bigger gloves?

Clough made a point of leaving players up the pitch, which meant oppo defenders had to stay with them, so the area was less cluttered and Shilton had an easier task to come and collect the cross.

It seems bleedin' obvious to me but the professionals don't seem to see it.
Permission to time waste today Emi!I won't mind so much today as he'll no doubt be on for that.
