"Emi Martinez will be back training with us today. He’s had some personal issues that he had to fly back home for, but he’s back today so I have no worries about his availability." - Dean Smith at today's press conference.

Abysmal today, absolutely dreadful. I'd drop him after today if the alternative wasn't Jed Steer.

Woeful for the first 2 goals. No pressure on the shots mind, but he was dire.

His dad was seriously ill so I think that is a factor
Having travelled to Argentina and come back .
It wasn't really necessary for us to have him back here and Emi should have been given more time with his family.

I can't fault him under such difficult circumstances

Another poor decision by Smith then.

But it’s not just today, he’s been off for a few weeks like the rest of them. It’s just his levels are usually so high.

I’m hoping he’s not getting his head turned elsewhere as Messi seems to be acting like his agent most of the time.

There weren't too many complaining before the game....but Smith can't catch a break at the moment.

Awful
Not having a Premier League no.2 at the football club is as bad of a decision as not bringing in a proper central midfielder. DISGRACE!

Linked with Spurs, admittedly by the Birmingham Mail or whatever it's called.

Matty Cash is number 2, mate. The rest just play like they are.

I had a premier league number 2 yesterday. A full 6 sheets to wipe away the evidence.
