I think for everything he brings to the team Martinez is right up there.  If he stays for another couple of seasons I think we'll be talking about him for years to come.  Hopefully we'll be able to resist the inevitable offers from CL teams.

He's a brilliant keeper I just hope we don't have big bids coming in for him in the near future.

I think that’s a near certainty unfortunately.

Isn't the talk they'll be compromise of 5 days quarantine for this round of qualifiers?

Would mean he'd just miss the Wolves games.

Please, nobody say 'release clause'.

You could certainly see Real Madrid and Barcelona showing an interest at some point. Well, if they’ve got the money anyway.

Not sure they have a pot to piss in, never mind the £100m it would take.

Certainly in the case of Barcelona. Huge debts resulting in getting Messi off the wage bill.

Barcelona is even bigger than that isn't it? Their wage bill is miles above the league imposed wage cap based on their finances so even if they took on debts to buy him they wouldn't be able to register hm without some huge changes in their finances. Real have a similar problem which is probably the biggest reason why mbappe never moved.

On Martinez I know he's only been here a season but I feel more confident in him than any other keeper I've seen for us, he has the perfect mix of attitude, ability and personality to be a world class goalkeeper and things like saturday are just a reflection of that.

I never realised just how salty Man U are.  First their manager whining about imagined unfairness and now their fans getting their knickers in a twist over a bit of gentle sledging!

Plus the obligatory indignation from the noses who reckon Martinez wouldn't have the bottle to do it at the Sty.  Not that their likely to find out.

Not sure it takes *that* much bravery to do a dance in front of an empty stand anyway.

Atlético Madrid were 'linked' a few weeks back and I'm sure Simeone would appreciate his compatriot's sh!thousery.
