“ However, there is one standout performer in Europe this season that is Martínez.”

Love that!

Does help that Martin Laurence is a Villa fan, though you can't argue with the analysis.

50 saves for 14 clean sheets compared to Mendy's 16 saves for 13 clean sheets. An incredible difference.

Henderson + how much to be forced into a deal?
I could be swayed for Henderson + £20m, total value about £40m.

I could be swayed into telling them to eff off. He's another that needs a new, fatter contract. It's shit having all these good players.

I wouldn’t settle for anything less than £80 million. Some of the keepers going for £50 million plus he is easily worth more than that.

He’s not going anywhere. And if De Gea or Allison or Kepa are worth £70m then Emi is twice that.

We should be looking at total fees of around £200m if we let him and Grealish go. Which I don't think we will.

No thanks. Emi stays unless he says he wants to go and then I’d want at least £70m.

Man United want him?

Ok - the best strikers in the league cost over £100mil, I assume the best keeper would cost that too....

I really doubt they do.  They’ve an experienced, but wobbly, pro in de Gea and one of the best youngsters around.  I don’t think their gain would justify the expense.

No way they’re spending the money we would want - and could easily justify based on the comparables around - on a goalkeeper. Even if we were a selling club (or a club that could be pushed around) which I don’t believe we are anymore.
