You’re desperate mate thinking Gyokores is better than Ollie

I think Gyokeres would far suit us than he does Arsenal, he's lethal on the counter attack but the way Arsenal play isn't to his strengths. Right now I don't believe we are playing to Watkins strengths, so it's little surprise they have similar records this season. I don't think Gyokeres is a Mario Jardel but he does have his limitations.

Gyorkes is shit. There's a reason he was playing for Coventry a couple of years ago. It's because he's shit. A few seasons padding stats in substandard leagues like division 2 and Portugal doesn't alter that he's shit.

P.s. He's shit.

Ollie's not perfect but at least he's not Gyökeres. Imagine relying on him and Guessand having spent £100m on the pair...

Gyokeres is younger, in his first season in the PL and has still scored more than Watkins though.

I'd rather have The Gyok. At least he's proven he is a serious goalscorer.

Gyokeres P 20 G5 A0
Watkins P 22 G7 A1

All comps please.

Why?

G 26 8 1
W 30 7 1

Watkins has played 210 minutes more.

Because i said he had scored more than Watkins this season and he has.

8 is more than 7. You do understand that don't you? If you have 8 of something, and I have 7, you have one more. Gyok has 8 goals, The Sacred Cow has 7. This means Gyok has one more.

Also I said I would rather have Gyok. For the reasons I've given. Watkins is finished. Gyok may get better. Three years younger and new to the league makes that a possibility. For Ollie it doesn't.

I know it's hard for some of you to understand but do give it a try.

You said the bit in bold too. And Watkins career to date is pretty damn good, you've said so yourself, whilst discounting Watkins this season. You can twist and move the goalposts all you like but the stats show that Watkins has been doing it for years. Your new hope has one more goal this season (in the League Cup), and on that you're basing a big argument that you'd rather have the other player.

Gyokeres has scored once since the 1st November in the League. 2 of his goals were in August against Leeds.

Watkins has scored 6 in the same timeframe.

Who's the one in form?

You're taking pish, and everyone knows it.

Trying to throw in a loan move when Ollie was a teenager is nearly as pathetically shit as Gyokeres. Only nearly though as nothing is as shit as him.

17 goals in the Champions League in two seasons including a hattrick against Man City says different. Still, don't let facts get in the way of your gaslighting. For balance, Smirker's talking shit too.

Gyokeres is playing for one of the most attacking teams in recent years given all the options they have starting and on the bench. And even with all of those advantages that most forwards would die for he’s proven he’s shit. He was clearly on a great run of form in Portugal and that carried over in to the CL. So credit where it’s due there. But this is about the PL and he’s crap. Ollie would score a boat load at Arsenal.

Looks like he has 8 career CL goals. 5 in the Europa.

No. 17 appearances, 11 goals including the hattrick against Man city. My mistake.

Drummond I'm not just basing it on that though.

I gave you multiple reasons.

It's also why I'd take Dowman over Messi in 2026.
