Serious question: how much would we get for him?

Not enough to risk selling him.  I’d favour keeping him and buying a series of youngsters, hoping one comes off.  I fear the wages shared between Watkins and Malen won’t give us much room to spend on strikers in the near future.

Yeah I think a Durán-type punt in January. Re-assess in the summer.

His confidence looks completely done. As evidenced by that non header at the start of the second. He’s not even contributing to others scoring now which at least was something he could rely on and provide value. It’s sad to see because he looks lost. And he probably knows that he’s not going to the WC if he doesn’t get it going.

Rory Wilson is now 19. I'd promote him to the first team squad and give him a few sub appearances. Oil him up for when we slot him into the team.

Ollie as a bench player I can deal with.

He's lost a yard of pace and doesn't look like getting it back.  That chance in the first half when Rodon won the ball off him, a year or two ago he'd have buried that.  I'd love him to prove us all wrong though.

Do we know that the injury is that he's managing?  He does look a yard 'off it', and I wonder how of that is this injury.  There is going to come a point when his world cup place is in danger (especially if Ivan Toney comes back to the premier league in Jan), so I do wonder if they'll just pull the trigger and take him out of the squad completely to get the rest/treatment he needs to be back fully fit?

Playing with any kind of muscle injury on that pitch wouldn’t have helped his recovery or form.

Has been a great servant to the club but I think this is his last season with us and he may well be more a  bit part player depending on how January pans out.

Yep surely people aren't falling for that. Do people really think Unai would persist with an injured player? Come on...

Can’t fault his effort but he looks utterly bereft at the moment.

Yep, I have never seen Rogers or Bailey being played with loads of bandages on them.

I'm with you on the reported injury, you wouldn't take a chance on any player with a muscle injury on that pitch today.

Players absolutely start games when carrying a knock, I have no idea if Ollie is but to think it doesn't happen is plain wrong.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but we’ve held on to him for one season too long.
Love him forever but he’s done at this level.

One or two games fine. But according to some he's been carrying a knock since the Euros. Its nonsense. He's trying to play him into form like he did with Rogers at the start of the season when he was struggling.

There is no injury.
