Always thought he was a really good player who couldn't get himself fit for long spells. Funny how his injury problems appear to have cleared up now he's in his mid-thirties.

Very unfortunate today not to score a couple. Denied by some very good blocks and saves.

I can't believe they gave him man of the match on Sky but again a decent display today.

Who was the co-commentator?

I don’t get the hatred he gets from some fans. Somebody else today in the Trinity slagging him off, calling him useless. Just don’t get it.

It came across as a bit of a strikers’ union vote - we’ve all had a nice day, make sure all the kids get a prize.

My MOTMs went off after about 60 minutes. Big EMI deserves a mention, then probably Watkins.

Martinez was my MOM. They were getting  on top but he saves that pen and we take full control again, it was a pivitol moment  in the game.

There's no doubt Ollie is playing out of sorts, combined with a lack of luck & limited chances to score. But he never stops working.

He will absolutely turn it round in the next few weeks. Hopefully starting at Leeds.

It's always been the way with some, that no matter how well the team is doing, one of the players is shit.

I was going to say similar in the match thread but you just know it wouldn't have gone down well.

Definitely a hint of sympathy about it.
