If only the options at left back were as good.

Left back is a really poor area for us.

Still think Guilbert should be as starting ahead of Cash, but he looked far more competent last night than he did against Man Utd.

I think it’s a good battle between the two. Freddie is more than competent there too.

I agree, mate. I like the fact that they are both fast. Targett is like a podgy snail with a red face, ambling around.

I thought Cash showed why he was bought with several superb crosses in the box, which would have been deadly had there not been 7 centre halves in the box. I like Freddie but he was inconsistent and couldn't cross the road.

I'm with LeeB. Thought he looked a cracking player last night. Always looking to get forward, put some good balls into the box with both feet. Quick. Didn't let anyone past him. He was a big plus for me.

He showed some great touches, but I suspect the decent sides will target the space behind him; which is where Konsa will have to show his capability.

Guilbert is clearly out of favour - otherwise, he might have tried him at LB against Burton.

He looks to me everything I want to see from a new signing, absolutely delighted to be here and showing it.

Yeah I like him too. BTW, I was reading on the Polish Villa Twitter that he wont be picked for Poland despite having a Polish Grandmother. He doesn't speak Polish which he would need to get citizenship and the Polish FA do not repatriate players nowadays apparently.

Which reminds me of Ivor Linton, who played in Finland for so long he was eligible for their national side, but to do that he'd also be eligible for national service.

I want to see someone bullet header in one of those great crosses he puts in. In Platt from Gage style against Bradford
