From Sky Sports...'so cruelly absent'. What utter wankfest drivel.

It will just make it sweeter if we pump them in a few weeks.

That's true. I didn't really have a problem with them getting promoted, much like I didn't when Wolves did. But like Wolves, a smidgen of success and the fans are unbearable.

It's as if the pair of them had been scratching around in the lower leagues for most of their existence...oh wait..

Leeds were impressive, sadly, but I do think they’ll fade. Patrick Bamford will be like Pukki and stop scoring and they will tire.

I wonder if we’ll get the same reverence Leeds did for drawing - I doubt it.

I think they will just about have enough to keep out of the bottom 3 by using their energy to overwhelm poorer sides but don’t see them above bottom 6 - Bamford certainly won’t score the goals needed to get them any higher & if Llorente doesn’t shore up that defence & oust Liam Cooper they may well threaten that bottom 3.

The Bielsa love in is quite amusing certainly in the media it’s like they have discovered a new messiah who in reality took 3 yrs to get the 2nd biggest club (the biggest last season lol) out of the Championship.  He is v v good when he has that small cohesive unit around him, let’s see how he does if they are 15th/16th at Christmas with the extra players they’ve recruited making that small unit harder to manage.

Bielsa got Leeds promoted in his 2nd season, not 3rd. In his first season they imploded in the playoffs after looking very good for 3/4 of the season. It was essentially the same squad who’d finished mid table in the championship before so maybe you’re not quite giving him enough credit there.

I think that's a bit harsh on Bielsa's achievements.

His first season he finished 3rd with a side that came 14th the year before, didn't have a big budget particularly and as we know being a 'big club' counts for very little down there.

Then his second season they walked the league by 10 points. He's one of the best managers to manage at that level, along with Benitez, Nuno and of course Deano.
