I wish I'd have asked him about that when I interviewed him. Missed an opportunity there.

He's said before - they weren't told everything.

What was it that he claims he wasn't told?  And being on a commission, wasn't it his job to find out?

Good call Hilts.

Leyton Orient of course as I come from Leytonstone.

Hibs were founded in 1875. Hearts were founded in 1874 and wear a similar colour shirt so not sure if that changes things although Hibs have a different colour on their sleeves like the Villa. Plus we've signed some very good players from Hibs i.e. Alex Cropley, Des Bremner and SJM.

Another vote here for Notts County.

And Genoa and Ajax. Teams who good mates support.

Watford - born there
Harrogate Town - lived there
Hearts -my dad's team (local when we lived in Edinburgh)
Vasco da Gama - it was them or Fluminense when I went to a match at the Maracana (4-4 draw)
Samut Songkram - (the Raging Mackerel) picked a shirt to buy on holiday in Thailand... Only one I could get in at the time!

At least it's not Flamengo!! Vasco are a big working class club with an iconic shirt who consider Flamengo to be their bitterest rivals. Most of my mates are Botafogo but I chose Fluminense because their colours were a mix of Villa and Ireland and they're nicknamed the Tricolour. Their new Umbro shirts are very nice indeed. https://www.loja.fluminense.com.br/fred?fq=H:1160&O=OrderByReleaseDateDESC

Indeed. I have a  Vasco shirt for 5-a-side and it's drawn many an admiring glance.

Fluminense are the posh ones that the Brazilian FA kept saving from relegation

Cool shirts though
