Presumably, Terry will be off. Maybe there is something in the press talk of the Bournemouth job.

Shakespeare obviously did well as coach at Leicester.

Having friends working together in a job can go really well or really badly, but I'm hopeful for the former.

He has moved about a bit since he was sacked as manager of Leicester. If he is a Villan, it would be good for at least one of his family to stick around for the long haul and we need more female fans.

Basically, my plea is: Shakespeare's sister - stay.

You worked hard for that. I'm not sure it was worth it.

The song was in my head from hearing it on the radio the other day. I couldn't resist  ;D
Not surprising that I never get involved in the pun-fests!

This is all a much ado about nothing. He’s come in to fix what was last season a comedy of errors. Hoping we can look back and proclaim all’s well that ends well. Time to judge will be after the twelfth night.

Just like Okores positioning, there’s something rotten in Denmark.

I like what the Punjabi Villans tweeted

‘Our club slowly adopting the Athletic Bilbao policy with management then moving onto players’

New sporting director, recruitment director and a further coach. Hoovering up the best 16 year olds.

Feels like good foundations, with £100m+ tucked up our sleeve, let's not waste this golden opportunity to build.

I'm pretty sure he is/was a fan of Sandwell Town. Went to Perry Beeches Senior school with two people I know really well.

He said on a Q&A with the Watford official site he was a Villa fan growing up just before they sacked him. I only know this because a mate of mine and I were saying about 2 weeks ago that he would be a good replacement for Terry, and when I googled him i stumbled over the interview.

Have you got a link please? One of the brothers I know that went to school with him has just confirmed he supported Sandwell Town.

He worked with Richard O’Kelly at the Olbyun many moons ago. I didn’t have too much contact with him but he seemed a decent bloke and fairly switched on. The Youth Team lads seemed to like him. He was universally known as ‘ Shakey ‘ .  Long time ago though

Were Shakespeare and O'Kelly in the Walsall team that had that League Cup run in 1984?

My mate is being a pillock. It's his Birthday today, well drunk, in his 50s and is a Sandwell Town fan himself. Sending me loads of rubbish about our new acquisition. I'll ask him again at the weekend.
