Interesting. I hope things go better than they did at Watford.

Interesting. I'm not surprised at all.

When he was asked about goings on at Watford when Pearson was sacked, Deano mentioned Shakespeare and how they were good friends from their playing days. I though then that if Terry left he would be his likely replacement. Looks as though they've brought him in now, knowing that he's available and knowing that Terry is going to leave sooner or later.

Really good, loads of experience, as a big part of the whole Leicester title winning journey. A similar influence at the villa would be nice 👍

So a proper coach instead of just a legend. I will ignore his stint at Watford.

Known as a good coach, but mainly in the defensive way I think? We'll see what direction this takes us.

Surprised a few people are saying the Watford stint was a failure. They took a side that was bottom on 9 points up to 17th when they left. You could argue they did a decent job.

Didn't see this coming.  No idea whether he's any good or not.  Presumably Dean's pick?  If so, it's got to be better than having someone foisted on you.

He worked with Richard O’Kelly at the Olbyun many moons ago. I didn’t have too much contact with him but he seemed a decent bloke and fairly switched on. The Youth Team lads seemed to like him. He was universally known as ‘ Shakey ‘ .  Long time ago though
