Puerile. Pointless. But I do always enjoy looking at the league table at this time of year.

Below those fucking fannies Arsenal? FFS. Smith out.

Will probably settle for that bottom three, tbh.

Points total, absolutely though I see them 2 places further down the table come the end of the season.

Massive improvement in the defence which is good to see. A lot of clean sheets. Still having problems up front though.

Mid-table mediocrity would do for me next season. No more dramas, disappointments or nail-biting, SBT finishes.

I didn’t think this warranted a new thread, as opponents aren’t included , but equally didn’t knew where to post.

So here was my choice 😀

The schedule for this season. December is a busy month !!

And January. Bloody hell, we're going to need a big squad.

Are they going to stagger a programme of league fixtures over two weekends in Jan/Feb again like last season's winter "break" ? From the looks of it, the players are going to be worked as hard as during "project restart".

Is there a swingometer to track our progress at this stage each season? There really should be, it's difficult to tell how we're progressing otherwise.

I think this puts us automatically into the groups stages of the Champions League. Playing Barca, Bayern, Madrid every other week is where it's at.

I've never enjoyed our qualifying games when we field our reserves to brush aside smaller teams from countries about which we know little. In fact, it's a bloody liberty we are made to play all these pointless league games all over England cos we always qualify at the start of the season for the Champions League.
