Cheers F-V, interesting stuff especially if we can get 15 points on board after 10 games. ;)
Do you think we can ? So vital we won that first match !
This would be 14pts plus our 3 already !
9 out of 10 to play let's say
Away win : Fulham 3pts ,
Home Wins: Leeds, Brighton, Southampton 9pts
Draws: West Ham , Arsenal 2pts
Defeats
Liverpool home
Leicester away
Fulham will definitely be targeting our game next Monday as a 'win' game; both because of our poor season last time out and because they beat us in the cup last season.

Anyone have an idea the earliest date we could play Man. City this season? Next few weeks would be ideal given their lack of CBs and strikers but guess that won't be possible with international break and europe restarting.

So it's at least a 2 month wait .
The rearranged match can't be made before December and likelihood it's January if not later.

And into February haven't covered the permutations on fixtures and man city Europe but it's very congested whenever it fitted in.

And maybe put back to towards end of season?

Just push it back to the end of the season and we can have a last game title decider like 1989.

Mourinho was moaning the other day that by the halfway point of the season every team should have played all their games up to that point and he singled us out as having two in hand on most clubs.

I think in other countries where he has managed, Spain and Italy notably, teams repeat the order of games from 1-19 to 20-38. I do prefer that format to be honest. Something bugs me about playing a team in December and then the return league game being a few weeks later. It happens every season. For us, this year it's our games with Burnley.

Brighton and West Ham were supposedly kinder and look what happened there.

Exactly. There are no easier or kinder fixtures. That mentality is wrong and would cost us if it was reflected by the ones who matter on the pitch.

Footy I think the point is intensity can not drop. Take to the pitch with same mentality as if every game is against Liverpool and we will be fine.

If we look at what has happened so far we will be expected to loose or draw with Palace at HOME in our next game and then win 1-0 or 3-0 against Chelsea and United AWAY in the next two.

You would have been happy enough picking up 3 points from that run of games.
With current form 3 would be disappointing now

Very kind of the league to expand our run of difficult games by one
