Was the Championship this bad when we were in it? Barnsley are absolutely crap. Modern day Wimbledon.

It was a poor Championship this season. The top two were both excellent but I wouldn't fancy the chances of any of the four play off teams in the Premier League. The fact that a really piss poor Luton team finished comfortably twelfth sums up the Championship this season.

I'm assuming the Sunderland documentaries have now stopped, but at which stage of the playoffs will they fail? Although they have got their first win at Wembley in god knows how long this season in whatever the Leyland Daf is now called.

Portsmouth didn't make it to the play-offs so I think they'll win them. They view them as a bit of a nemesis.

They beat them in the semis a couple of years ago.

Cavani is proper top quality. He might not be able to do it every game for a full season but he has been a world class footballer as proven right there. He knew he likely couldnít outpace the defenders so he chose to shoot. Brilliant goal.

Great finish but offside by 5 yards. VAR would have been a killjoy to disallow it though apparently.

Maybe that's a new rule innovation. Offside goals can count if a panel likes the aesthetic quality of the finish (and it's Man Utd)

Can't begin to understand why anyone would be watching that game when there's a meaningful match on the other side?

Anyway, Oxford player clean through, gets pushed and chooses to stay on his feet and misses. If he had gone down it would have been a penalty and a red card. If referees refuse to give fouls unless a player goes down then it just encourages diving. Useless twats.

Are you surprised? A 'referee' didnt send one of their players off in a Cup Final because it was "too early to ruin the spectacle" .

Same thing with Bamford at Southampton. Goes past the keeper, gets clipped, stays on his feet (believe it or not) and all they get is a corner. You clearly see him ask the referee if he has to dive to get the penalty.

I'll be honest, I'm less upset about it if it's against Leeds 😃

And then Bamford scores anyway, even though the top half of his body looks offside.

Looks like the Oxford Blackpool playoff is as good as over.
