Yeeeeees! Roussillon 'minnows' Canet have beaten Olympique Marseille in football: Zinedine Zidane, Fernandel, Franck Leboeuf, Akhénathon, Jean-Pierre Foucault, Eric Cantona, Eric Cantona etc.

Probably.  Micah Richards was a football phenomenon insofar as he was  positionally obtuse both defensively and offensively.  He could be relied upon to assist opposition attacks and obstruct ours.  The time he slid in to clear the ball off the opposition goal line was a classic of the genre.

A perfect example of his defensive and offensive prowess is contained within this highlights reel.

Although to be fair, for the offensive effort, if VAR was around nowadays they would have seen the arm around the neck and the shirt pull and awarded a Manure Penalty up the other end.

Howcome the minnows do so well in the French Cup?
I seem to remember a non-league team got to the final a few years ago.
Are the elite teams nonplussed about the competition?

The lower league clubs are always given home advantage, which helps. It is a great competition. 8,506 entrants!

Do they set aside a whole day to cover the first round draw?

Made me laugh. Although it is true that the French speak quite rapidly.

I couldn't believe the debate on the handball/no handball in the Chelsea v Everton game. He practically caught the ball in the crook of his arm.

Rob Greens analysis on GK's on sky is fascinating. Didn't particularly think he was a great GK himself but he clearly knows what he's talking about.

Why are the commentators  on BT only talking about only Chelsea and totally ignoring that Everton are also on the pitch?

It's not that teams on a bad run need a game against us it's more the fact that even very shit teams do get a break from run of very bad results so the omens are not good for us.

I rate everton but they've been hammered tonight. Chelsea always seem to benefit from sacking managers relatively prematurely.

Not doing a bad job, Tuchel, 11 games unbeaten now.
