Great to see the smile wiped  off Bingos face these days  No mean feat to lose five home games on the bounce ,nobody has managed it  in over 100 odd years  before.

Salah and Mane look nothing like the players they were of last season.
you mean
Salah the top goal scorer this season.

Yes that’s the one. He’s not the same player he was last season. He was taken off after an hour tonight. If you’d seen the game earlier you’d probably think to yourself the same regardless of his current goal tally.

Liverpool have been breaking all records since Klopp came along. Long may it continue this way.

100 years at Liverpool, or 100 years at any club?

No punditry on MOTD tonight, due to the late running time I guess. Micah's post-midnight analyst rate unsustainable for the license payer. Even Gabby Logan couldn't be arsed narrating til the end.

5 home defeats on the bounce for Liverpool, history makers.

At this rate their home record will be worse than SHA's.

The delicious part of Liverpool's run is the debunking of the club/media driven myth that the club is in some way more special, more important to their fans, superior to others, therefore any success is a god given right.

It's no more special than Villa, Rochdale or Raith Rovers. They may well have achieved far more but this sense that this elevates them above others is horse shit.

Other than Man City everyone has struggled this week from who I have seen. Spurs may have got a win but they was very average. Man Utd last night again was not much better. I didn’t see Leicester but it seems that they didn’t play particularly well.
Apart from Everton - they seem to be the ones who might just be in the right form to take advantage of the others' inconsistencies I think.

Liverpool's biggest problem is their midfield. Its just workman like designed to give a platform to the front 3, who are way off form. Thiago is slow and ponderous in transition, doesn't score and doesn't create. They're all about high turnover higher up the pitch, but they can't with him, so their chronically poor full backs defensively get exposed.

The only downside to this is it makes our 7-2 look less impressive.

Five in a row not even Woy or Souness managed that.

The problem with the Liverpool thing is that it will all be blamed on the lack of fans. Which will only make them even more full of themselves.

I have heard the same from Wolves fans, it's why they are not so good this season.

Good point Drummond. We all know that the kop can literally suck the ball into the net, we’re told often enough.
I’d love to see how their special fans would react to this if they were in attendance. They’d probably give the players and manager some very special treatment I think.

The only time I've ever been to Anfield the atmosphere was very poor. Remember Djibrial Traore scoring a pen against us.
