The handball law says it's handball, not VAR. They couldn't allow it to stand.

Other than Man City everyone has struggled this week from who I have seen. Spurs may have got a win but they was very average. Man Utd last night again was not much better. I didnít see Leicester but it seems that they didnít play particularly well.

This law is ridiculous then. Why was it changed? Itís impossible to move a part of your body out of the way from a close range shot. I presume it was changed to stop a Ref having to judge with common sense if it was ball to hand it not. Itís bollocks. The game is being spoilt by both rule changes and the use of VAR.

The law is ridiculous and not consistent. That would not have been a punishable handball for a defender in a penalty situation, but it is for an attacker in a goalscoring one. How can you have a differing outcome for exactly the same action?

I'm with you Risso.   If its not a penalty at the other end, its not a free kick in the opposition area.  You can't  - or shouldn't  - have different interpretations.

And then at Liverpool how is that NOT a penalty for Liverpool when Kante's hand is at shoulder height?  It makes no sense!

The destinies of empires, Roman, Greek, Egyptian, Chinese, turned on the  judgements of prophets, seers, visionaries, dreamers of dreams.   If they got it wrong they got their heads chopped off.  Football has fallen into the thrall of technology worship.  Chop a few VAR high priests' heads off.  Should do the trick.

Can we take some credit for our win over Liverpool seeming to have helped to derail their season? I think we can.

Surely you bring James Milner on in the latter stages of a game to shore things up and see out the game, not when you are a goal down and chasing the game?

Salah and Mane look nothing like the players they were of last season.

Looks to me that the latest FA rule is that, once 1 goal has been scored, any others are ruled out by VAR....maybe they should just make it that first team to score wins the match!! Should be implemented immediately, particularly as we have only gained 1 point from a losing position. Would allow our players to remain fresh all the time.
