I can’t see them sacking Lampard, but they really do look all at sea. Some of his signings have been a disaster.

They’ll bring Harry in to support him.

'Snodgate'. Why didn't Fat Sam just say he was leaving him out for tactical reasons or claim he had an injury niggle?

I was quite refreshing to see Maddison's interview after the Match.

Spoke well and comments were a little more interesting than the usual.

That’s always been his problem, he’s just too honest 😉

They’ll bring Harry in to support him.

How long would Harry then support him until he went on to replace him like he did with Billy Bonds at West Ham?

Plenty of goals have been ruled out because a strikers arm is extended further than the defenders. The Leicester defenders arm was well ahead of the goalscorer yet it gets disallowed. No consistency.

I'm sure I heard during the commentary on one of our games a few weeks back, that the arms are no longer considered in the decision.  Haven't heard anything official about that though.

The "arms" were not. However they used to take the "shoulder" into the decision but as it is very subjective on which point it would have been called handball it might have been canned. However I think that is unfair that refs can change the interpretation of the rules whilst a season is still being played. If the rules are shit, they shouldn't stick with it rather then review. After all how can the adage of "it evens out in the end" be applied if all your bad decisions are in the first half and all the decisions where it would have helped would have been in the second.

That's disgraceful, but not surprising from the porn kings.

Really good interview with Maddison after last night's game. Good attitude and I understand more now why he and Grealish are mates.

Maddison is a great player and one of the many Talented attacking midfielders England have at their disposal along with Grealish, Foden, Mount, Barkley et al.  Southgate should be working on combinations of them to tear teams apart with their quick passing, control, movement and finishing.  Throw Kane into the mix and there is potential for cricket scores.  But Southgate will no doubt continue to rely on the "solid platform"  of Rice/Dyer/Henderson plus one other, and the pace of Sterling, Sancho and Rashford, both of which are unnecessary and ineffective against teams who defend deep.

I rate Maddison but if we could bring any Leicester player to Villa I would choose Tielemans.
