During the Wolves WBA game, why did the commentator refer to Silva as the Portuguese wonderkid? Hasnít he only played a handful of professional games with less than four goals to his name?

I think itís more a case of wonder why they paid £35M for him.

There's around £6.8m reasons Mendes could give you as to why.

The commentator was also waxing lyrical about how tough an opponent Adama Traore was. Then in his next breath he said Traore had zero goals and zero assists so far this season.

Again a decent manger might get better out of Werner. Lampard is pants as head  coach.

Werner, Abraham and Giroud seem very different types of striker and it's hard to see how they would be able to fit into the same team structure. Can see it somewhat with Giroud and Abraham, but Werner seems a completely different type of player.

I have always thought of Werner as more of a number ten than an out and out striker.

Has anyone else noticed how often Lee Hendrie uses the word 'really' in his co-commentary role?

No. Baking a tray of cooking apples or rhubarb until the fruit is soft is the start of a big crumble.

I have noticed that he always seems to be on the brink of losing his voice.

Is this the first season he's done PL. I know he used to do the Championship, just seems to be on the PL more and more this season. I've issue with his as s pundit/commentator better than many others.

He's not alone on allowing an emphatic adverb to dominate his point of view repetitively. Really along with basically, literally, honestly etc. are used by most people.
