Looked like he was surfing on his ankle.

Still top of the league on PPG. That's all that matters in a pandemic.

Weíve lost a game and will pretty much come out of this weekend in exactly the same spot as it started. Our game in hand send us top. We must bounce back next week. At minimum a a point.

Looked like he was surfing on his ankle.

It looked to me like he had two pops at him to make sure.

It was a disgraceful, disgusting challenge. Itís a shame you canít sent someone off twice for things like that.
Yet Alan Smith said it wasnít that bad. He got a few other things wrong in the game also.
Smith is becoming a really shit commentator.

It was interesting in that my biggest criticism of Smith is that he doesn't know how to change formation/tactics in game when things are going against us. And in this game one of the best managers in the world did nothing to try and change the way Everton were playing apart from like for like substitutions.

Great week for Scottish football.

Just got better today.

To be fair that was a really good game to watch today. Unlike most of the Scottish games I have watched in recent months.

And we saw that with Klopp vs us, Pep vs Leicester.

Lineker tweeted: Running behind someone and accidentally treading on their heel should never be a red. Canít you chase people anymore?

I must be missing something, I thought that was a dirty challenge which could have led to a broken ankle.

I too thought it was a bad challenge but Kieron Dyer and Jamie Redknapp on SKY both reckon it was a yellow card offence. To be fair to the SKY presenter (Dave Jones?) he said it might have been just a yellow card in their day but not these days.

Why is Redknapp defending Digne? Saying the red card should be rescinded.

Marco Van Basten had to retire early because of fouls aimed at his achilles.

Digne knew exactly what he was doing. Born out of frustration, maybe, but no excuses.
