Entertaining enough. Leeds didn't create much, Wolves had the better chances. Feel like Wolves did a number on Leeds tbh, latter looked utterly out of puff for most of the second half.

Anyone else find it a tough watch?

I thought Wolves set out to spoil the game.

Leeds play quite pretty football but I just don't see them scoring enough goals, a little purple patch from Bamford was never going to last and I don't see anyone else in their team scoring many.

Wolves will be ok, Jimenez is a class act but they're a weaker team than last season, like a number of clubs.

I think we will do the same.

If Leeds try to play like they did today against us it'll be a cricket score, we very recently showed the league that you play a high press against us at your peril.

Famous last words, but I can't see Leeds having much to hurt us.  Bamford still looks very average to me, and they have lots of willing runners but not much quality.

Leeds impressed me first half with their quick passing and were quite physical while Wolves looked very lightweight and couldnt put a foot on the ball. Second half Wolves seemed to step up and dominate possession and looked much sharper. Im sure Leeds ran out of steam and ideas.

Two Wolves players mentioned how Leeds go 'man to man'.

Try that against us and we'll murder them, nearly everyone in our team can turn their markers.

I think well be ok on Friday. We will likely play a bit of rope a dope with them to tire them out and then hit them on the break. But its Super Leeds and they are fucking ace because the media says so with a manager who looks like hes taking a dump on the sideline.

Leeds get a lot of crosses into the box, particularly from their left, with us playing two CBs as opposed to Wolves three, and Targett not that handy defensively, Id image that will be where they see their best chance of getting chances.

I agree. Wolves really struggled first half to keep Leeds out, particularly with Ayling overlapping on the right and Harrison on the left. Leeds failed last night because their final ball was either gash or Bamford was left with too much to do.
The space behind their fullbacks is the place to target our counter-attacks because they play so high and the 2 Leeds CB are still a little raw.

Deflected goal off the (Phillips) man bun, which subsequently unravelled. Classic case for a hairnet really.

Must practice 'hit the bun' this week at Bodymoor

Wonder how many they will be bringing to VP? Bunch of Jessies.
