Bale for me is a massive luxury signing they didn’t actually need. It seems to me he’s lost his interest in the game. Now he certainly could win them points with his talent on occasion but I don’t think he will be a regular fixture in their team.

I like Son but was hoping for a draw or a Burnley win, would prefer Spurzz stuck in mid-table.

Son is superb. Right now for me player of the year.

Nah Eric Dier for me :)

Don’t get the desire for “bigger “ clubs to underachieve tbh, I want my club to exceed, looking at other clubs on par with us to fail smacks as small time.

Has it occurred to you that for us to "exceed" then other clubs by definition have to fail?

The weak require others to fail, the cream however rises irrespective.

Did Djokovic, Nadal and Murray get this memo when Roger was at
The top?

If he's referring to Burnley/Spurs it's hard to know who's bigger with them both having only having 2 league titles each.

Indeed, based on their squad and results so far then it will be tougher to finish above Spurs than Burnley so was hoping the former wouldn't get the 3 points.

Wycombe v Watford and a real 'one for the cameras' save from Ben Foster. Slightly more elaborate than it needed to be to say the least.

I like the stat that Wycombes Left Back has scored 5 goals direct from corners in his Wycombe career.

Wyc still on 0 points. I’m hoping doing a Fulham eventually comes to mean scoring sub 10 points in an entire season (pack back for those clappers)

That Wycombe 'goal' should have stood for me. Foster got away with that one big time.
