Entertaining El Classico this afternoon. The balance of power has very much shifted to Madrid and Koeman has his work cut out at Barcelona.

Luke shaw is a thug and that was a penalty by Maguire for holding.

VAR?

I can't believe Harry Maguire got away with trying to yank his opponents head off in the penalty area.

If a Chelsea player had made the same challenge as Maguire, it would definitely have been given as a penalty. Otherwise itís been a real piss poor match from these two giants of football.

That's incredible. My Ajax supporting mate will be thrilled.

It's baffling, how a nailed on penalty for Chelsea (foul by Maguire) did not even get a VAR, but the Rashford incident at the other end (which was absolutely and clearly nothing) did.

Why the hell didn't VAR give a penalty for McGuire's stranglehold on the Chelsea player? I mean honestly. They just keep on finding new ways to screw things up and piss us off. It's completely unfit for purpose and needs to be given the red card. Which incidentally is exactly what the officials have wanted all along in my view.

I've just opened the bbc sport app to be confronted by this image

Nothing given then, I take it?

Just listening to talk sport and apparently they did review it but didn't think it was a clear and obvious error. An absolute joke. But then again it's Man U at Old Toilet so why should we expect anything else?

Watching two plastic teams from two plastic clubs, currently cancelling each other out in a soul-less plastic match.

Is this what the great Super league project would be like?

Villa - Leeds was a much better spectacle.
