Hudson Odoi watch....one cross in against the defender marking him and a few flicks here and there. All hype!

It's not so much that it's all hype, he's still 19, like most teenagers that get raved about when they break through they hit a point where they're not a surprise any more and the adrenalin that they were boosted by from playing in the first team suddenly isn't there and they need to find a way of being up and ready for every game without it. Very few players under about 22-23 don't hit a bit of a wall after 15-20 games, how they come back afterwards is what defines whether they'll make it at the club or not.

Calvert-Lewin is just superb and in incredible form. Brilliant header to put them ahead.

I go along with that. But for the moment itís hype. Heíd be served far better if pundits, commentators and hacks didnít build him up as the best thing since sliced bread As they have being doing for the last 12 months.

What's surreal and enjoyable about the Everton v Brighton game is that with the crowd effect, they've gone for a constant cheer. No cheers, no jeers, no boos. Just a happy, sporting and enthusiastic mid range enthusiasm, no real ups or downs just a middle of the road feel with a chant every few minutes. Absolutely everyone audibly in attendance is really quite happy, just like the pre war Pathe silents.

Heís such a liability for club and country. Yet Southgate will continue to pick him over Pope.

Everton are looking really strong in all areas except in goal. Theyíve added to what was a decent base with very good players and have a striker who is bang in form. They will be up there this season.

As I said some time ago Ancelotti is only here to set up his pension pot and James has done nothing for 6 years and is finished :-[

As someone who doesn't go to games often at all, if having no fans in the ground is turning dire 1-0 / 1-1 / 2-1 games into 6/7/8 goal thrillers, then I'm quite happy keeping the grounds empty.

The Buns should really be a goal down with a seriously embarrassed keeper.

Leeds really should be docked points for the sheer amount on man buns they have. Itís truly pathetic. How does that sit with those allegedly tough blokes from Yorkshire? Fucking pansies
