I thought Sporting were the right wing club of Lisbon?

Ah, love Lisbon. My favourite city in Europe and Euro 2004 was incredible there.

Well done to Sporting.

I have never been to Portugal. As for European cities I like Barcelona, Copenhagen, Vienna, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Brussels, Cologne, Munich, Zurich and Lucerne. In the late seventies my old man would take a month off and we would travel all over Europe in his caravanette. Germany and the Rhine region were my dad's favourite places.

You'd love Lisbon Damo, me and the family have been many times on holidays, we love the Costa Prata, Silver Coast north of Lisbon, Cascais is a wonderful town near Lisbon, really missing my pastel de nata right now.

Benfica's ground and museum were pretty impressive. I made the mistake of going for a walk around Lisbon wearing a pair of flip flops, by the time I'd bound up the hills and streets my feet were cut to ribbons. Brilliant place.

Last time I went to Lisbon it was at the time of a lot political and social unrest. Country in a serious financial hole. A lot of graffiti on some beautiful buildings took away from the experience. Has that all been cleaned up now. This was a number of years ago mind you.

Got to feel sorry for Kepa, did really well to keep out a potential o.g but the ball eventually goes in off the next phase of play.
Come on Chelsea

The week of absolutely wank results designed to annoy me is continuing, I see.

Watching Inter v Roma  good game 2-1 at half time.  Inter wearing possibly the worse kit I've ever seen, I assume there must be a reason for it.

Fcuking Chelsea. Expected them to swat away Arsenal yet even in an 'orrible year for the Gooners, they're still going to finish ahead of us.

Yes but in fairness Arsenal were aiming for Champions League football this year. We were among for a season comfortably safe from relegation. Give a year or two.

Expected us to lose to Man U, but Tottencunts and Cheltwats contriving to lose to Leeds and Arsenal is a massive piss take.

Yep looks like the battle for 10th with Leeds is the aim for us now, oh well.

Lisbon is fucking brilliant.

Went there a dozen plus times in three years in my last job, and I love the place, but in the last of my visits there were definite signs of it being badly impacted by the mass tourism brought on by becoming a trendy destination in recent years.

As for graffiti - it's nowhere near as graffitied as Italian cities.

Arsenal are utter shit and we are now 7 points back of them. Yes two games in hand but fuck me how did that happen?

Iíd be more than happy with finishing 10th now but have my doubts that we can achieve that.
In our last few matches, we inevitably seem to have at least 3 of our players that are off form.

For all the AFTV drama queen behaviour they have been doing alright lately. We've completely ran out of gas, the thin squad, efforts at the end of last season, covid in January and long season have just really caught up with us. We look like a side that desperately need a break.
