Sky must hate this season.  Their last day ‘drama’ is going to be the battle for 9th.
Yup. At least we had the decency to take relegation battle to the last day.

I'm behind on my Podcasts and just caught up with the Sky Sunday one from mid April the day after Sheffield United were relegated. Apparently it was the non goal against us last season that relegated them this season as the reporter felt they lost all momentum from then on. So now our cheating in one match has relegated two other teams in different seasons.

VAfaRCe gets even better...the Fulham keeper it sent off for handball outside the area because a defender who was in the process of falling to the floor was in a position to cover.

Standard of the referees in this country is utterly comically bad
Did you see the Real v Sevilla match the other day? A suspected handball in Madrid 18 yard box  ignored by the ref play waved on and as Real attacked Benzema was fouled in the area. Ref gave a penalty however on VAR check the pen was cancelled and instead play brought back  and Sevilla awarded a pen for the earlier handball.

EFL may yet deduct points from Derby which would see them down and Wycombe survive.

Deduct points why?

Well I think they're getting a points deduction. Question is if it gets applied this season or next. If it's the former, they're down.

https://theathletic.com/news/derby-championship-efl-ffp-appeal/1qTsyqHxZtEa

If there’s a points deduction it has to be applied to this season, because Sheff Weds deduction was for FFP infringements for the same period as Derby according to the article.

Must be a decent chance this drags on through courts for a while... what if there is no decision until after the season starts?

You really wouldn't credit some of the utter guff being spouted by uninspiring, unintelligent pundits and commentators of the game. Apart from anything else, it is deeply insulting to Chris Wilder that he'd allow his players to be terminally affected by 1 incident in the first half of a game that could have gone either way.
SheffU got found out, were unlucky with the injury to O'Connell early on and wasted their transfer funds on the wrong players (Brewster was always the wrong option, in my opinion).

So one dodgy decision against them in a season in which they happily finished 9th has affected them so badly they finished bottom this season due to post traumatic stress disorder? Basically they were similar this season to the way we were in the season we were relegated. We spent big on players who we thought would take us forwards and we ended up quickly going backwards instead.

As expected Solskjaer has made 10 changes from Sunday's match, Greenwood being the only one not rested.

They love playing us. Probably doing this to help Leicester so that Liverpool don't overtake them. They'll no doubt complain about it all being unfair too.

I hope Leicester get a cricket score.

It is very much a Manure shadow XI. I hope Leicester stuff them.

Watching Man U v Leicester. Manure getting every decision in their favour. Shock.
