Sothampton, like quite a few teams this season,  look very good attacking but piss poor in defence.

Son with 4.

Kane assist on all four, I think. Some pairing that.

Southampton are really a Jekyll and Hyde team aren't they?

You have to wonder what impact no fans is having on these games. I don’t know if the players are more relaxed but the play, certainly this weekend has been so much more fluid and open. Loads of goals and chances. Living here I watch a bit of basketball and they have been saying the same during the NBA playoffs. The play has been very offensive and just at a very high level. Lots of scoring.

I said the very same thing the other day on here.

The training ground ambience will take effect more often than not the longer this goes on - and at the start of a new season with no “high risk” games - ie relegation / champs league place at risk this will become the norm for goals galore

Southampton have been torn to shreds
Southampton players were just sleepwalking the game. Only reacting when it was too late. Just before the 4th goal there was a play near the touchline in front of tech area and Son managed to receive a ball turn and distribute surrounded by 4 Southampton players within a couple of yards of him.
