The only surprise to me is that people are surprised.  32 years of an elaborate and systematic arse covering operation will continue rolling on.

My heart goes out to the families if the 96, plus the many others whose lives have been affected by this and continue to live with it

Those comments warrant a complaint to the Bar Standards Board for bringing the profession into disrepute.

Numerous of them have been made. Me included. It's an absolute disgrace.

The mayors of Greater Manchester and the Liverpool city region have formally complained to the Bar Standards Board about comments by a QC appearing to blame misbehaviour by Liverpool supporters for the Hillsborough disaster.

As stated in the article he has now issued a 'clarification', so either leading counsel who is paid for the precision of his use of language is not very good at his job or he is changing his tune. Hmm, I wonder.

Knowing a lot of people have falsified things over Hillsborough just can't be left at this situation.

Only minor people so far have been held to account and even then they have been able to hide behind vicarious liability.

I only look at what happened with Upton Park and us a few months  earlier.

That'll be the cover-up that we were still being vehemently assured by learned Counsel last week did not happen.

Some of the replies beggar belief. How they can keep going is beyond me.

"If we give you this money,  will you go away?"  At least that's how it comes across

If it was me I'd tell them to stick their money.

So if they have to be compensated for a police cover-up, where are the guilty cops, then?
