Our lot are so very lucky that Villa Park will be empty.

Just can't see any scoreline that doesn't start with Aston Villa 0.

We should add this to the thread title.

This is it. Win or bust.

Yep.  With that in mind, we've got to at least try and get some creativity in the team.  Push Grealish back out wide, play Nakamba with Luiz and give Hourihane a free role in front of them.  Not CH's biggest fan at all, but at least he has a goal in him.

Why not! Despite hourihane being very limited at this level and lacking pace, I do think he’s one of the ones who gives a shit. He looked seething when he came on against Man Utd and was throwing the f bomb round at a few of them. Also ran round like a lunatic...to little effect, but I’d rather that than passively letting the game drift away.
I felt really deflated when Watford got their winner earlier, but fuck it. It’s absolutely clear now, win or bust, no fucking around. We somehow scrape a win, we’re within 4 points of Watford and West Ham, preferably Watford lose to West Ham midweek and we scrape a draw at Everton, we’re 3 points behind with arsenal at home and on the beach West Ham away whilst Watford have Man City home and arsenal away. Absolutely delusional I know, we’ll know by 4.30 tomorrow.
I just home Smith tries just anything different.

                                Reina

Konsa.           Mings.    Hause.        Taylor

                                 Luiz

Elmohamady.              Hourihane.             Grealish

                         Samatta.         Vassilev

Largely irrelevant now.  Play the kids so we can at least see a bit of effort.

He's only had a few minutes of game time but I have no idea Vassilev's strengths are and I couldn't even say what his best position is.

Just caught a headline on Birmingham Live, Dean Smith given huge boost as Matt Targett declares he’s now fit and available for selection. If I’d known that earlier I could have put good money on that we will win all our remaining matches!! Why do they bother with ridiculous headlines like that?

I can't see Dean doing anything out of the ordinary.  He might change the faces but the tactics and shape will be the same.

This'll be our 1987 vs West Ham. 4-0 to the Villa. Steve Hunt with one of the goals.

Be just like the Villa to put in a shift and a decent performance, now it's too late.

Just caught a headline on Birmingham Live.

That was your biggest mistake. If that was on newsnow click "hide publication" via the cog.

I see that mighty Burnley didn’t give up when they went 1-0 down to YNWA. Now 1-1 and final result could go either way.

The sad thing is, there doesn't seem to be any kids either.
