I'm really struggling to see how whatever midfield combination Smith picks today is going to deal with Pogba and Fernandes.  We need Jack and Luiz to have the game of their lives.  I'd be telling Davis to keep pressuring Maguire as well.

I'm going to be crazy and think we'll win. McGinn or Luiz will crack a shot off from outside of the box. Then it's back to defending...

This is the only way we'll score I reckon, a bit of magic from these or Jack. We've looked so shot of ideas for ages.

The game kicks off at 20:15. Is this the latest ever scheduled time for a VP game? (I know that Liverpoop League Cup game started late and went on all night 15 years ago or so.)

This is the worse possible time, we could be playing United, with the present form of Fernandes, Martial, Rashford and Greenwood. Just hoping we can defend as well as we did against Liverpool and can keep the score down to a respectable level, being realistic wouldn't be too unhappy with a 2 goal defeat.

Much as I love him, McGinn has looked more likely to score himself a Balti pie at full time than a long-range screamer since the restart. He is bang out of form and I just can't see it.

Luiz is due a howitzer though, and Jack will be playing up to impress his new boss

Well, McGinn could still do it, and Luiz is due letting one off.

And yes, Grealish will be looking to show he's worth the much mula mentioned

I would be surprised if the SKY commentators even mention us, they will just talk about them constantly, they cant wait to get there beloved Man Utd back in the top 4

Strange when they were in the top 4 - Sky always said the "big 4 teams" once they started to be 6th in league it became the "big 6"

I hope we win - the finance director a Utd fan and season ticket holder, where I work reckons it will 7-0 to UTD, i hope tomorrow morning I am the one laughing at him!

Does that mean Smith gets a pass?

We need to score the only goal of the game in the last twenty seconds of injury time, for obvious reasons.
