Fucking Souness. Going on about Luiz and the way he went down.

He must have missed Salah playing in his slippers in that first half.

Wouldn't mind giving Vassilev the chance (over Trez)

Yep, why not.....as long as it’s for Trez.

Mark Lawrenson

Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

"We should praise Villa, defensively they've been very good as you'd expect from a Dean Smith side"

Appears he's never actually watched a Dean Smith side before.

I'm not convinced Lawro could tell you what year it was if you asked him

My concern is Liverpool have several more gears they can go up. If they want to. That was pretty much it for us.
Disagree

Trezeguet's turn to be worse than El Ghazi today.

Wonder if Jack will be out in the second half? If not, perhaps give Jota a chance in the hole.

Don't do anything daft Villa. I know its ingrained in us, but a very benign 45 minutes would go down a treat.

Well said. What a bitter twat Souness is. He was mocked over here when he managed Benfica. tactically inept. There was also the question of some dodgy signings he made who were all linked to an agent mate of his.

Still think Liverpool will win, but that was an excellent first half from us.
