Would take a point at this stage. We just have no strike force

You say that like you wouldn't normally take a point against the League and European Champions...?

I think all of us would in fairness.

I think I'd take a point if we were 2 up in stoppage time.

The most solid and organised we've looked this season. No complaints here.

Happy with that, pleasantly surprised. If only we had a striker who could score or at least show some positional awareness.

Good so far.

Hour mark will be the test as ever in these games and what we do or don't do.

Small glimpses of the real SJM at the end. Good half considering jack wasn’t in it. Luis is looking like a player.

We should go for this. Liverpool are on the beach. I predict they’ll get beaten a few times from here on in.

Decent effort that. Difficult to see Liverpool being so poor in the 2nd half though

Should have made more of that, Liverpool still look hungover, good opportunity missed, I suppose you could say reaching half time and still 0-0 is a bonus, fact is they can turn this in a heartbeat and we need something from this.

My concern is Liverpool have several more gears they can go up. If they want to. That was pretty much it for us.

Absolutely.  Test will come when Liverpool change their tactics or system and the coaching staff are called on to react.

They've got about 20 more gears on the bench in one certain player waiting to come on.

I'd take a 1-0 defeat tbh. Yes incredibly defeatish but have to cover all bases and we'd still be well in touch with Watford regarding the GD.

I think we’ve done ok considering.

It just feels like we’re waiting for the inevitable, even though they haven’t troubled us so far.

Once they get the first it will be over. Just need to keep this going as long as possible. Please.

Kept our shape well.
The back 4 have been protected well with Luiz and McGinn dropping back to help out.

For me, Trez off for anyone who will offer something more than he gives.
