Hi,

I was the photographer at your U18 match against Fulham yesterday, and I've put together this match report with a fair few of the pictures.  Hopefully it's of interest to a few:

That was excellent. Thank you. Please feel free to post any more Villa-related shoots you may do in future.

That's a great way to report the game. Thanks - a brilliant read, despite the result!

Really good and interesting report on the Fullham v Villa match, it certainly puts our coverage of youth and reserve football to shame  .I have mentioned it before but Fulham really are our bogey team Only team to beat us this season twice ,always seem to get a penalty and i notice our team seemed to missing a few regulars

I tend to associate the term 'bogey team' as a team who are mid-table or lower who always get a result against us despite their position. I think Fulham are one of the top sides in the league so it was always going to be a tough game but there's a number of lads in that team making their first or one of their first U18 games. Even for an U18 team, it looked like quite a young side. Possibly part of a greater strategy of getting players into sides early as part of their development.

U23s are away at Sunderland. Currently 0-0 at half time. It's as weak a U23 team as I've seen us put out all season, I think a lot of players who could be involved must be with the first team squad.

Aaron Ramsay with 2 and Brad Young just about see us home 3-2.

Leaders Leeds losing at Palace also.
No tears shed there that's for sure.

Excellent news as I was concerned he might leave with the stories around.

Great news, I really like what I've seen of him, pace, quick feet and the confidence to try a few tricks. With some good coaching he can become a very good player.

No doubt agent stories to try and get him some more money...

From what I can make out the delay in signing was about game time more than money.
